Perfect Push Ups.
Ante up for 30, 60, 90, 120, or 150 Perfect Push Ups. Run 50 yards as a penalty for breaks/faults. Rest only in the upper plank position no more than 3 seconds. No mods to totals... if you go 91 you, you go 120.
I set myself up for 30 full pushups and knocked them out 15, 5,5,5 in 5mins and some change. Then I switched to my knees for another 60 that I banged out 20, 10, 10, 10, 10 for a total time of 12:47.
Not sure if I bent the rules since the 0600 class got a pointer than once you pick a standard, stick with it. But as I did it I think I met the spirit of the workout. Strength and cardio and I was able to stay at it for a while. Not thrilled with my lack of performance on these, but they are a weakness and it got worked. Today though was one of those days that I'm starting to think the only way to tighten my core is at the hands of a plastic surgeon.
I did some afterwork modifying the weighted chins to working a strict pullup with a band from various grips. Close with red... but no cigar.
Wrists hurt and my CT braces don't seem to be helping, but almost making it worse. I really think it is not in my head but near it. Yesterday's squat balances were tricky to keep good head alignment. I feel it a bit in my neck and sure enough, it travels to my wrists. Weekend plan is to rest them by running.
