Here's a discussion thread for CFOT Zones to write their Zone stories. Hearing about other people's success is a real help. So what type of progress have you made? What type of time period? It's quite possible that you've already posted it somewhere else. If so, just post a link here.
I started Zoning for New Years and in the first 6 weeks lost about 11 lbs. Since then I have been holding +/- 1-2 lbs from that figure. I still have about 20 to go and hope this plateau goes away along with all the sick days I've had in the last month. The magic IS in the movement. I really get that 1- 1.5 lbs a week loss when I can get in 5 workouts in a week.
At this point, clothes fit better and a few are on their way to charity. People who I haven't seen in a while definitely comment. I still cringe at most photos I see of me, but I'm not intentionally hiding in the back row anymore.
It's been a while since I've posted here, but wanted to update a bit. I haven't seen a whole lot of weight loss in the last 8 weeks, but I'm still feeling stronger and more fit in my clothes. Hopefully the triple wammy of 2 birthdays and Easter in April will fade away. At the moment, it seems that if I zone in the 11-13 block range I am great on the strength, endurance and weight loss. But the minute I add a dessert or glass of wine or (egad, both!) well, zero out the negative weight loss for that week.
Biggest dream at the moment... get so good at this that I can start upping my fat blocks to where I can eat a Lara Bar without it being a cheat!
