I saw this on Crossfit main page today and wanted to share with everyone. I love the last paragraph of her blog.
I came to Crossfit because I was struggling with a serious weight gain over the prior 6 months. While I haven't lost a pound in my 3 months at CFOT, my clothes fit better, I feel stronger than ever, I have more energy, I'm eating better, and my husband who has been deployed for 6 months exclaimed while home "ooohhh, you have little triceps now!"
After years of hating my athletic build and soccer player legs, Crossfit is actually helping me change my perspective--Athlete does not necessarily equal super skinny. Athlete = Beautiful and Strong no matter the size of the jeans or number on the scale!
