Hello from the Sand Box

Hey everyone, just wanted to say Hi and I really miss the fam back in Old Town. Everything is going well, have been in Iraq for a couple weeks now and I am not going to lie, I HAVE IT LUCKY! I am at Camp Slayer and if I wasn't in Iraq, it wouldn't be too bad. But lo and behold, I am, and Iraq sucks. Haha. I got CrossFit Slayer affiliated, and I wanted to thank Jerry, Andrea, Chris, Elise, LtCol Dan, and everyone else for helping me learn and grow in all of the months prior and for all the assistance through this process. I am going to do my best to bring the true family training environment that I experienced at CF Old Town to Iraq because there is no other way for an affiliate to be. I hope to spread the kool-Aid as best as I can to meet up to CFOT standards. Keep training hard everyone. Check out our site, www.crossfitslayer.ning.com. Where are you guys meeting on Slayer?

We meet, right now, at the fish bowl gym 1430 and 1930 mon-fri. I am working on getting the pad out by the pull up bars to be our permanent home and have a canopy built, but that will come after I get some legit equipment and a place to store it all. Haha, but we are working it. Shoot me an email [e-mail] and i will keep you up to speed.
